About

Myrthe (they/them) is an early-career movement artist, working between London, Scotland and the Netherlands. Trained at the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance and Trinity Laban, their practice is situated between contemporary dance, live art, physical theatre and ensemble improvisation. Rooted in research and lived experience, they make socially engaged work that centres bodies, identities and experiences that are underrepresented in traditional arts spaces. Alongside this, their work is increasingly multi-disciplinary, spanning design, film and alternative uses of space.
